What happens to transparency when converting WEBP to JPG?

JPG does not support transparency. Transparent regions in the WEBP will be flattened against a solid background — white by default. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG, WebP, or TIFF instead. JPG is the JPEG standard from 1992, served under the .jpg, .jpeg and .jfif extensions alike, and after three decades it is still the format most cameras and most websites use for photographs.
What output quality should I expect from WEBP to JPG?

Default settings target broadcast / web quality — visually identical to the source for most viewers. For archival use, pick the highest quality option in the converter settings.
My WEBP is animated — what happens to the other frames?

Only the first frame survives, because JPG is a still format with nowhere to store the rest. If the animation matters, target a format that animates, or convert to a video container instead and keep the motion. JPG has no transparency, degrades further every time it is re-saved, and produces visible blocking on flat colour and sharp text.
Is there a file-size limit when converting WEBP to JPG?
